Creating a Job Site or Processor Ticket

This article explains how to create and print a shipping ticket for delivering materials to a job site or sending them to an outside processor such as a galvanizer or painter.

When to Use This Feature

Use job site or processor tickets when:

  • Materials are physically leaving your shop
  • You need documentation for drivers or subcontractors
  • You want to track shipped items separately from internal usage

Tickets are tied to the shipping history of the project and can include preloaded items.

Creating a Ticket

  1. Open the project
  2. Go to Shipping > Create Ticket
  3. Select the Ticket Type:
    • Job Site
    • Outside Processor
  4. Enter the following:
    • Ticket Number (auto or manual)
    • Date and Destination
    • Carrier and Truck Number (optional)
    • Remarks (optional)
  5. Choose items to include:
    • Add from Preload List, or
    • Select manually by drawing, piece mark, or sequence
  6. Save the ticket

Printing the Ticket

After saving:

  • Click Print Ticket
  • Choose from available formats:
    • Detailed with piece marks
    • Summary by drawing or sequence

You can print multiple copies or reprint later from the ticket manager.

Editing or Canceling a Ticket

  • Open the ticket from Shipping > Ticket Manager
  • Use Edit to change details or items
  • Use Cancel Ticket to void it from shipping records

Canceling a ticket does not delete the preload list, if used.
