System Requirements and Installation for ROMAC Production Control
Minimum System Requirements
To run ROMAC Production Control reliably, your system must meet the following minimum specifications:
Operating System:
- Windows 10 (64-bit)
- Windows 11 (64-bit)
- Windows Server 2016 or later (for terminal server environments)
Hardware:
- Processor: 1 GHz or faster (multi-core recommended)
- Memory: Minimum 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended for multi-user environments)
- Hard Drive: At least 500 MB of available disk space
- Display: Minimum 1024 x 768 screen resolution
- Network: Required for shared data access and multi-user setups
Installation Steps
Step 1: Obtain the Installer
- ROMAC will provide you with a download link or physical installation media.
- Save the installer to a local or shared drive accessible to the machine.
Step 2: Run the Installer
- Locate and double-click the
setup.exe
file. - Follow the installation prompts:
- Accept the License Agreement
- Choose the destination folder (default is recommended)
- Allow the setup to complete
Administrator rights are required to install the software.
Step 3: Initial Launch
- After installation, launch the program from the Start Menu or Desktop shortcut.
- The software will initially run in Evaluation Mode for up to 30 days.
Step 4: Activate the License
- Go to Help > Licenses > Activate License
- Enter your:
- License ID
- Software Options Code
- Click Activate to unlock full functionality

Troubleshooting Tips
- If the installer fails to run: Right-click the file and choose “Run as Administrator.”
- If the program won’t launch: Ensure antivirus software hasn’t blocked the executable.
- For network users: Verify permissions to the shared data directory are properly set.
