Creating and Managing Shop Cutting Batches

What Is a Cutting Batch?

A cutting batch is a group of selected SBOM items compiled into a list for processing by the Nesting module.

Each batch includes:

  • A unique batch number (1–9999)
  • Material pulled from one or more drawings or preload lists
  • Filters by shape, spec, or sequence

Cutting batches allow you to:

  • Organize shop work by priority
  • Group materials by machine or shift
  • Control nesting and remnant return

Accessing the Cutting List Module

To begin:

  • Go to Home > Tools > Shop Cutting List
