Download & Install

To complete you purchase, download and install the appropriate application.  The installation programs are available for download using the SUPPORT | DOWNLOADS menu option on this site.  This would be either Length Nesting Version 2.5.n or Plate Nesting Version 2.5.n.  If you are currently using the evaluation version, it is not necessary to re-install the program unless there has been a version update to the software since the last installation.   (Do not download or install versions 2.1.n of the programs.  These versions have been replaced.)

Installation requires administrator privileges.  Version 2.5 of the programs can be installed alongside version 2.1.  If you have deactivated the previous version of the program, we suggest you uninstall it to avoid confusion.

The first time you run the program, you may get an error message.  If you get the error message, right click on the icon then click ‘Run as administrator’ – the program should open.  You should be able to run the program in the future with regular user permissions.

The software can be moved to another computer.  You will need to deactivate the software on the old computer before installing and activating on a replacement computer.


Activate Your New Software

Program Activation

Your new software will work for 30 days before you need to activate it with activation codes. After 30 days you will need to make sure your software has the correct activation codes.

Please watch your inbox for an email message with your activation codes and more information about how to activate your software. We urge you to please activate your software as soon as you recieve these, so you don’t experience any downtime after the 30 days in case you forget or lose the codes. Please be aware that it could take up to 48 hours (Monday through Friday, holidays excluded) to receive this information, however, most orders are fulfilled within 12 hours.

Contact us if you get an error code during activation. In some cases, you will need to turn off the firewall during the activation process. Once the software has been activated, you should turn the firewall back on. It may be necessary to contact your IT person to activate the software.
